The Niagara Movement – PBS Lesson

Hi everyone! Tomorrow I will be teaching a local history lesson on PBS! As soon as I find out when it will air I will update this post. The Power Point for the lesson is below.  Check it out as it is a great lesson about our local contributions to helping W.E.B. DuBois and The Niagara Movement create and present the Declaration of Principles. This movement was the precursor to the NAACP and it happened right here in WNY!!!!!!!!! Much respect to Buffalo heroes of color Mary B. Talbert and Reverend J. Edward Nash for their early 20th Century work with Mr. DuBois and The Niagara Movement!
